Bluewater Maritime School, Inc. is an IRS designated 501 ( C ) 3 non-profit corporation. The non-profit mission of  Bluewater Maritime School, Inc. is to provide no cost training to at-risk youth and other economically disadvantaged individuals. Bluewater Maritime School, Inc. was established in 1998 and started by providing training to professionals in the maritime industry. Since then the school has provided training services to private individuals, industry, and the military. Bluewater Maritime School, Inc. embarked on their non-profit mission in February 2001. We are now located at 5209-5211 Timuquana Rd., Ste 9 Jacksonville, FL 32210 Located in Jacksonville, FL, Bluewater Maritime School provides quality maritime training to both entry level and experienced merchant mariners. From the Ordinary Seaman and Able Seaman programs to 200 Ton Masters, we offer personal expert instruction in both practical training and classroom training. STCW classes include Basic Training, Basic Safety Training Renewal and Basic Safety Training Revalidation.Coast Guard approved security courses include Maritime Security Awareness and Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties. We also offer various classes to help the experienced mariner advance in their careers, including Able Seaman, Lifeboat, Rating Forming Part of the Navigation Watch,Radar Observer Unlimited, Radar Renewal and Leadership, Managerial Skills and Basic Safety Training Refresher, and Advanced Firefighting.
