It was hard for Dr. Rosenberg to accept the fact that in the past 50 years, we have only minimally extended survival rates of advanced stage cancers. This is where his journey started. With what he had already discovered, he enabled his mother to live 11 months, nearly double the time doctors thought she would live by doing chemotherapy alone. This did not stop Dr. Rosenberg’s journey, it only increased his commitment to helping people live long, healthy lives.
