 "G.I.F.T.ed" -Grace, Independence, Freedom, Teaching education. Our school strives to provide a family, home-like facility that in turn provides a safe, comfortable, and relaxed atmosphere. With God's Grace we maintain the Independence, and Freedom for Teaching education to his extra special children. We are a school for special needs at all skill levels. The G.I.F.T.ed Learning Center is a small private school for all special needs and exceptionalities including Autism. We are non-denominational/Christian based and serve special needs children and their families in the Jacksonville/Orange Park areas. We provide an alternative educational environment allowing the students to succeed at their pace. We warmly welcome any child and family with any and all learning and/or medical special needs to our G.I.F.T.ed family. Our Mission: To provide the freedom and independence to teaching special education uniquely and creatively specific to each child’s needs, abilities and talents, while ensuring mental, social and physical development to gain self-worth and knowledge that he or she is a unique and valuable individual. Our Uniqueness sets our school apart from the rest. At The G.I.F.T.ed Learning Center students are taught in a flexible, affordable, small setting. Our Student-Teacher ratio is 1:1, which allows the student to learn at their own pace and with the best method that helps the student succeed to their potential. Each students routine is structured and individualized for their needs. Each child is different, so should be their routine.
