We started The Free Ride in 2011 on a hunch that people would love easy, free transportation to their favorite hotspots and maybe even some they’d never tried. We set out to do things differently from the start, using gas-free electric shuttles and working with awesome, forward-thinking brands. Our riders loved it.
Being East Hampton locals, it just made sense to have our first routes be in the Hamptons. Full of New Yorkers in the summer, it’s a tough place to find a parking spot. The Free Ride gave people the ability to park their cars and quickly and easily get where they needed to go.
