I’ve been thinking about doing this event for quite some time and I finally went for it! I’m so excited to see what will come of The Conscious Boutique, our community of like-minded parents, and the good that we can do when we support each other. Thank you for joining me for some good, old fashioned retail therapy, the Conscious way! Why are we The Conscious Boutique? Because fast fashion is a REAL problem in today's world. By consigning, and shopping consignment, we are: 1- Reducing the waste and pollution caused by fast fashion. After all, baby, kids, and maternity items are only used for a few months!! 2- We are being budget-conscious by purchasing new, never worn, and like-new merchandise AND putting some money in our pockets by cleaning out our closets! 3- We are being fashion conscious by passing on our favorite gently-loved pieces to new, loving homes, and purchasing name-brand and one-of-a-kind items at a fraction of the retail price! 4- We are supporting local families and vendors by purchasing their merchandise! Consignors receive 60% of their sale price! 5- We are building community by gathering with like-minded families for this bi-annual event. 6- We are supporting a local charity that caters to women and children when we donate our unsold merchandise! The Conscious Boutique is a bi-annual consignment event in North Miami-Dade ! Our community event offers conscious shoppers the opportunity to buy and sell BRAND NEW and GENTLY USED, children’s and maternity clothing, toys, furniture and accessories for babies and children of all ages. The Conscious Boutique is an eco-friendly, wallet-friendly option to clothe and stock your kids up with gorgeous new and like-new gear! This in-person and intimate community event offers a great alternative to garage sales, garage sale apps, and resale websites. It’s a one-stop shop to see what you are getting while supporting local families and businesses (as a shopper), putting money in your own pocket (as a consignor or vendor), cutting back on the waste created by “fast fashion”, and donating to charities that support women and children (a different one each season).
