WELCOME TO THE COLE PRESTON FOUNDATION The Cole Preston Foundation was created to honor and carry on the work of Cole Mickley Preston. Our mission is to Feed Humanity through educational programs in Sustainable Organic Gardening. Our projects focus on creating community gardens with local participation, and distributing produce to those in need. Our goal is not only to donate healthy food, but also to teach sustainable gardening skills which can, and do, make an ongoing difference in people’s lives. The Cole Preston Foundation strives to have a significant impact on fighting hunger in every community. Debra started The Cole Preston Foundation to honor and carry on the work of her son, Cole Mickley Preston, who was taken from us on June 24, 2015. Cole wanted everyone to experience the benefits of nature and healthy living – a vision shared by Debra. A successful businesswoman in her own right, Debra now devotes much of her time and energy to this shared goal of encouraging others to making a difference in our community. Her love of gardening, along with her high-energy, and positive outlook makes her an influential and powerful force in the war against hunger. You can find Debra working hard on the farm, donning her tie-dye tee, along with our signature logo gardening hat.
