My name is David Landsman. I am the creator of the “Clean Out King” service and of this website.I am a fourth generation junk man, as I call myself. My father and grandfather and great grandfather were in the clean-out business in Baltimore, Maryland. They did estate clean-outs, commercial clean-outs, and had a used furniture and antique store. While growing up working in the shop and helping with the clean-outs, I learned the in’s and out’s of the business. Over the years, I’ve also tried very hard to learn to do business with a fresh approach when it comes to customer service. I pride myself on going that extra mile to make sure I always put the needs of my customers first. In addition to top notch customer service, I’ve spent the past 10 years buying and selling everything from antiques, to household merchandise, appliances, and so much more. In this day and age you need to have your finger on the latest available options when it comes to selling merchandise. David Landsman “the cleanout king” was excellent when we called him to clean out our Aunt’s condo in St. Petersburg. He was fast, professional and was a big help when we were crunched for time to get the condo cleared out for sale. We absolutely recommend him for anyone needing a clean out. We came from New Jersey so you can call him when you get to Florida or call him in advance if you are coming from out of state to do an estate cleanout, etc. so you can hit the ground running beforehand.… “The Cleanout King is excellent” Can’t Recommend Highly Enough! We are so, so grateful to David and his crew for the amazing job they did! My wife and I suddenly found ourselves with a house full of stuff hundreds of miles from us (we live in Maryland) when her aunt passed away in St. Pete. And we had no clue how to handle it. We investigated a few estate sales services, and David’s was ABSOLUTELY the best. Whereas the other services were arrogant and dismissive (and, in some case, never bothered to response) and acted like they were doing us a favor, David was courteous,… WE’RE A COMPLETELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER Though I’m 93 years old I was left with the responsibility of finding an Assisted Care Living Facility for my 94 year old widowed brother. He also needed to sell his home of 55 years quickly and it was full of a lifetime of stuff, stuff and more stuff. It was overwhelming to me until I called David, “The Cleanout King.” He came in with the most helpful crew of people you would ever expect and within 3 days had my brother’s house completely set up for an estate sale. It was very successful and… David did an outstanding job getting an old house cleaned out for me. He provides a wide range of services, makes a fair estimate, shows up on time, and stays in touch. He really is an expert at dealing with all of the household items and knows how to get the job done. Friendly, courteous, and trustworthy. Highly recommended. – 7th December 2017 – Mike Herig       It would be foolish to call anyone else! David answered the phone himself, returned texts promptly, came when he said he was going to come for the estimate and the job. Absolutely outstanding work. He and his helper worked for four hours in incredible heat (no a/c in the house) and left the house exactly as he said he would – broom swept clean. The estimate was more than fair. Do not call anyone else. David really IS the Clean Out King! – 1st June 2017 – O Carr     After the passing of my mother-in-law, we attempted to begin the huge task of cleaning out her home of over 40 years. It quickly became more than we could handle on our own. I called 5 “estate cleaning” companies, had them all meet me at the house at the same time (I felt extremely odd about that…) one after another they looked thru the home and explained their opinion of the clean out and what it would cost us. David was the ONLY business that was honest with us. We met on a Monday and David and his team had… The King helped us with a tough clean out for a family member. Things were stacked floor to ceiling, including in 2 garages with some big iron lawn machines. Others declined the job or had crazy prices. David took it on and did a great job on reasonable terms. Great communications to me via long distance and he was very respectful to the people involved and treasured items; in one word = professional. He left the home in impeccable shape. Very glad we found David. – 1st December 2016 – Steven Cook     Customer Service Oriented! David was very flexible with my limited schedule. I had to bounce between Jacksonville and St Pete on short notice and David was very accommodating on all counts. He was able to make a potentially tense and frustrating endeavor virtually stress free. His organizational skills coupled with crew efficiency made short work of removing the myriad items from my mother’s apartment. Completion of the job was finished ahead of my schedule and David even vacuumed before leaving. He went beyond what he promised and I highly recommend “The Cleanout King” without hesitation.
