While working full time in law, I attended night classes and received my associate’s degree in culinary arts in 1995. At that time, I continued to work full-time in law and cook in the evening and on weekends for the small catering company in Palm Beach County (that) I had. I became a single mom in 2000 and moved back to Brevard County in 2002 to be closer to my parents. I had put my passion for food to the side somewhat while my daughter was young, but in 2007, the Lord urged me to follow my true passion of cooking for others. My partner is the Lord, and it all started with His calling. The Christian Culinarian is here to serve the need. What’s unique about your business? Lawrence: We are all about you. Serving the need of others and giving you what you want. As a full-service catering company, we can be your one-stop shop. We provide the china, tables, chairs, linens, décor, centerpieces, together with fresh and fabulous food. We have our own clubhouse, so you have access to a venue that can accommodate up to 100 guests. We provide staffed catering for formal weddings, corporate events and large family gatherings, as well for the intimate dinner party of just a few. We have the capability of serving all our customers’ needs. We can provide food for all their needs. In addition to staffed catering, we have hot meals for corporate catering, a sandwich shop and bakery items and chef-prepared meals from our Meals n’ Market. We can handle all types of dietary needs, including gluten free, vegetarians, vegan and organic. We also offer a rewards program for our corporate customers who continue to support our business from week to week. Lawrence: We provide a soup kitchen outreach with our Christian noodle soup that is available every day for pickup or delivery. It just takes a phone call to take the spirit of healing to those who are not feeling well or who have just returned home from the hospital. Lawrence: In business, teaming up with the Lord to run our business. I’ve won many gold, silver and bronze medals in culinary competitions. I will be happy to provide my recommendation to any of your future customers.  Chef Cathy and her staff provided excellent food and service for our parents' 70th Anniversary!  The choice of caterers was excellent!  Chef Cathy was in control the whole time, well organized, she gave timely and thorough directions to her staff.  Food was excellent and the way it was set up was very efficient.  Chef Cathy knows how to handle a large group and is proactive in helping the event run smoothly.  She is amazing!  Just a couple of days before the event we realized that one of our guests needed a special diet.  Chef Cathy graciously came to the rescue.  AND, made sure she could recognize the special guest as she came through the serving line.  Excellent food and service!!!  Thank you Chef Cathy!  We're keeping Chef Cathy's phone number for Dad's 100th birthday!  Don, Karen, Jane and Nancy Chef Cathy came highly recommended by a few friends of mine.  So, when it was time to plan my retirement celebration, I knew The Christian Culinarian would cater the event.  She was a delight to work with, very up beat and excited for you. She got me started with menu selections, but her website is full of a variety of delicious entrees, appetizers and dessert options.  She was very patient as I changed my mind several times before settling on our party day menu.  Along the way, she helped me stay within budget and even gave me tips to save. On party day, she delivered the food and arrange it for us, making it easy for me to focus on getting ready to greet my guests.  The food was incredible!  Everything was hot and fresh--the hash browns, quiche and grilled chicken salad croissants were among our favorites.  There was plenty of food to go around.  The party was a hit!!!!  I had about 40 of my closest friends, family and neighbors over to celebrate with me that day.  And above all, everyone raved about how good the food was and they all wanted to take some home if they could.  Thanks to Chef Cathy, I was able to relax and enjoy myself.  It was truly a day to remember!  God bless you and thank you for helping me with this big event!
