Company youth enrichment programs are committed to the personal development of children and adolescents through curriculum, literature, assemblies and workshops, camps for character, and athletics. With offices located in Orlando, Florida, our mission targets the surrounding communities, counties, and states throughout the country. The Character Crusades Company was established to provide a practical, engaging, and modern approach to personal empowerment education among our youth. Our educational programs will develop core skills that are necessary for students to successfully thrive in a world that needs individuals capable of facing complex, interrelated problems in an effective way. The educational framework we have created will develop the individual to handle the pressures of modern life while connecting them through communication with other students and helping them to develop empathy. We are looking to highlight the important role that individuals play in society at large and the “uniqueness” of each person as a positive attribute within communities. By highlighting personal empowerment, empathy, and community, we are dedicated to breaking down barriers between students—barriers that exist along racial, class, or ethnic lines. We aspire to write a story and create not only a “personal” legacy but also a “collective” legacy for communities. In general, The Character Crusades Company youth enrichment programs will combat bullying, which is increasingly a problem for the educational system at large. At a minimum, our programs will let students know that they are not alone and that we are here to help. By emphasizing reading, writing, short story narratives, and athletics, our programs will offer practical solutions to the tensions that exist between the individual and community and will help children and adolescents learn to identify with one another. The stories we produce connect students in a way that is as sustainable as it is practical.
