Hi! I’m Laura Tharp, owner of The Belly Chef.
I spent my childhood between Atlanta and Chicago and have traveled the US extensively. My journeys have exposed me to a wide variety of cuisine. My love of food began young, at age 10. My Ma spoiled me to a monthly ‘date night’ where she would treat me to a fine Italian dinner. I remember each and every date. My favorite entree was veal marsala while Ma absolutely loved manicotti. Each outing ended with us splitting tiramisu. Our mutual love of delightful cuisine has helped me blossom me into an incredible chef with incomparable attention to detail.
