This Foundation, which is inspired by Alex Schon who was born with Cloverleaf syndrome, was started in 2003. Since then, with the help of several family members and numerous great volunteers and big-hearted donors we have been very privileged to help make life better for various parents and their children. Recently, I got an email from a parent whose daughter was born with Pfeiffer Syndrome. He told me with the medical bills piling up and the fact that he lost his job, he was just asking for a little help. It was heart breaking, but because of the foundation, we were able to help catch up his bills for his daughter’s medical care and hopefully give the family room to get back on their feet... Ways To Help The Alexander Foundation published this book in an effort to raise awareness about how people with disabilities are treated and to promote a more positive way to interact with all people. It is the hope of the foundation that this book can be distributed to all elementary school libraries, public libraries, doctor’s offices and other areas in local communities that will help spread the message. All of the proceeds from this book go directly back to The Alexander Foundation to help achieve its goals. The Alexander Foundation’s board members and advisors contribute many years of experience in business, finance, and education to benefit the well-being and success of the foundation.... The Alexander Foundation has compiled a list of links that relate to craniofacial issues.  The foundations hope is that this will be helpful for families as a starting point in their research on their child’s disease. ... Keep up with The Alexander Foundation’s events, events being held around the nation for children with special needs, and with the latest news on medical or technological breakthroughs for children with craniofacial issues or other disabilities... The hope of The Alexander Foundation is to distribute these books to every elementary school library, public library, doctor’s office or other local community places that will help spread the books positive message.
