I’ve been working for four months now. Express Jet is crossed utilized so I work ticket, ramp and gate! Four other girls from The Airline Academy work at this airport as well. One for Sky West and the others are at US Airways. I just wanted to let you know how happy I am in my new career and thank everyone at the Academy. The Airline Academy Established in 1972, The Airline Academy has gained recognition as one of the finest aviation training facilities, (also known as a Flight Attendant School or a Flight Attendant Training school), in the world, with students having attended from over 63 countries in addition to all fifty states. In 1995, customer service, flight attendant, and aircraft dispatch training were added to the curriculum to meet the continuing personnel needs of the commercial airline industry. All training is conducted at the Daytona Beach International Airport located on the Atlantic coast of Florida. The Airline Academy Instructors have been carefully selected. They have extensive industry experience with major carriers including Delta Airlines, Piedmont Airlines & US Airways. The focus is on the students and providing the most comprehensive training available. There are 12 students to each instructor, offering a state of the art, individualized education. The Airline Academy is certified by the US Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 61 and Part 65, Appendix A. We are also members of the National Air Transport Association, Florida Aviation Trades Association, and the Better Business Bureau of Central Florida.
