Joanne comes to The Advocator Group with over 20 years of professional experience in client service, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and optimal results. She is deeply experienced at providing high quality client service at scale, including running large-scale contact center operations alongside continuous improvement and quality metrics. Joanne’s notable career includes 16 years at the Walt Disney Company as well as serving as the Executive Vice President of Professional Development, Employee Engagement and Human Resources at the Chelsea Jewish Foundation. Gina Schreiber joins the Advocator Group from Sun Life Financial, where she spent 15 years developing a deep understanding of the employee benefits industry through a variety of roles in Risk Management as well as Distribution. Most recently she served as the Director of Distribution Operations, where she focused on improving sales effectiveness, crafting sales messaging, and implementing national sales strategies. Gina’s expertise includes relationship management, leading high performing teams, and developing innovative strategies to drive growth. Therefore, you will always have a small group of prepared to assist you or answer any questions you may have if you call in during our normal business hours. As the process begins, you’ll speak with a Client Advocate who will complete your initial application over the phone with you, walking you through the next steps of the process and what to expect. After this initial phone call, we will check in with you on a regular basis to provide the current status of your claim and gather any updated medical information you may have. Your team of Client Advocates will also be in contact with the Contacting SSA regarding your claim may include checking in on the status of the requests for your medical records, confirming receipt of any questionnaires you may have submitted, and gathering any information needed to move your claim to the next step.
