Company History The 1Eighty Group, Inc. was founded in 2009 by a Duval County Public School teacher and a well rounded banking industry expert, both with over 20 years of experience. The business was birthed out of their passion to empower disadvantaged youth with the knowledge and tools required to be competitive in today's economy. Initially, they provided weekly empowerment sessions to local church youth groups and quickly expanded to offering Tutoring , College Preparation, Financial Literacy and Workforce Readiness services throughout the community. Mission Statement The 1Eighty Group, Inc will provide youth with spiritual, physical, academic and economic education that will empower them to build and sustain healthy and prosperous lives. The 1Eighty Group, Inc. will empower at-risk youth with the knowledge, skills and resources required to be competitive in today's economy. We provide a wide range of tutoring services. All services are performed by certified teachers and a team of tutors who are trained and dedicated to meeting the academic needs of each student. We offer financial education to help youth learn the basics of finance including budgeting, saving and how to handle money. We serve as a resource center to help youth develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to enroll in institutions of higher learning. We provide students with tools, information and experiences necessary to make career choices that will allow them to be competitive in today's economy.
