About Textures By Blue Sky Textures by Blue Sky, Inc., was established in 1995 by Jacques and Nick Doucette in Coral Springs, Florida. The company’s main objective was spraying texture (knockdown and orange peel) on new drywall for builders in residential homes and commercial buildings. In 2002, Blue Sky Texture’s Inc. brought in Clayton Olesen (a STATE CERTIFIED DRYWALL CONTRACTOR) as a new partner to expand its business in the residential remodel market. Clayton’s main focus of the company was to promote popcorn removal and re-application of knockdown texture. In 3 years, the company expanded from one to five crews. As a demand for the service continued to grow, a decision was made to expand the services to Central Florida and the surrounding cities. Textures by Blue Sky, Inc. opened its Central Florida office in September 2005. Textures by Blue Sky expanded to the west coast of Florida in June 2013.
