About Terra Vista Realty
Terra Vista Realty is a boutique real estate agency that has been working with clients throughout the Charlotte metro area since 2005. Our top-producing agents are committed to delivering an outstanding value to each customer that we work with. We serve buyers and sellers in the greater Charlotte area – including Charlotte itself, Union County, the Lake Norman area, Cabarrus County, Fort Mill, SC and surrounding towns.
Terra Vista Realty relies largely on word-of-mouth advertising and referrals. We strive to meet or exceed customer expectations, and do so with honesty and integrity. To see what our clients have to say about working with Terra Vista Realty, check out our
Tom Palmer is the founder and broker-in-charge of Terra Vista Realty. Tom has experience selling many dozens of homes, ranging from small, urban condos to multi-million dollar lakefront homes – and just about everything in between. He has represented homebuyers and sellers in transactions in Charlotte and more than a dozen surrounding towns in North and South Carolina.
Before entering the real estate industry full-time in 2004, Tom had worked as the Strategic Marketing Manager of Omgeo, a financial services software firm. Tom holds a BA in Russian from Bates College and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
Lyn Palmer is a licensed North Carolina and South Carolina broker/Realtor representing buyers and sellers throughout the greater Charlotte, Lake Norman and Fort Mill areas. She offers clients honest and professional service, and is a strong client advocate. Lyn is experienced in dealing with a wide variety of property and transaction types.
Lyn relies largely on referrals and repeat customers for her work as a Realtor. Her knowledge and attitude have made her an asset to Terra Vista Realty clients, and allowed Lyn to become recognized as one of the Charlotte area’s top-producing agents. Lyn received a B.A. in Art History from Bates College.
Jamie Schettino is a full-time broker/Realtor, licensed in both North and South Carolina. She has represented homebuyers and sellers in numerous transactions in Charlotte and a wide range of its surrounding towns. Jamie has been voted a Five Star Realtor, best in client satisfaction for the past four years.
Before joining Terra Vista Realty in 2009, she worked for the Allen Tate Company, where she had been a top performer. Prior to working for Allen Tate, Jamie had worked for RE/MAX and Coldwell Banker. She holds a BS in Health and Physical Education from Eastern Kentucky University and a Masters in Education from the University of Georgia.
With the service we got from Terra Vista it is hard to imagine how anyone else would provide a better service.
Prior to the local Realtor Association using the term Cumulative Days of Market, Realtors and homebuyers in the Charlotte region would sometimes focus solely on a property’s Days on Market. The problem with Days on Market displays was that sellers could allow their property listing to expire and then re-list, and their Days on Market would go back to zero. This could make a listing that had been on the market for a long time appear to be a completely new listing.
It should also be noted that Cumulative Days on Market typically do not accrue when a property is not being actively marketed – i.e., when the seller is not accepting showings on their property.
Finally, because assessed values may change at any time, property buyers are encouraged to confirm assessment values with their county tax assessor before purchasing a property. Terra Vista Realty cannot guarantee public-records information displayed on our website is accurate and up-to-date in every case.
