The unit will seek to build strong positions within a selection of verticals towards 2020, combining these new verticals with the Telenor Group’s already existing core services, culture and footprint. Telenor Digital Businesses is established with the ambition of creating a number of strong digital verticals that will contribute with improved customer attention, deliver new revenue growth, and enable a Digital Services Provider (DSP) – ecosystem. Headed by Jon Gravråk, Chief Digital Officer & EVP at Telenor Group, the unit is a team of 60 passionate professionals, managing ventures both within and outside of Telenor’s core business. We seek opportunities in a selection of digital verticals including; Online Marketplaces, Financial Services, lnternet-of-Things (IoT), and AdTech/MarTech. Becoming our customers’ favorite partner in digital life will require Telenor to be bold and explore new things, outside of the traditional telco core.
