Mission Statement Tears to Freedom, Inc. is a 501(c)3 corporation, organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes with the following mission: Tears to Freedom, Inc. will advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and special needs and collaborate on their behalf to produce and maintain quality, community based housing, that fosters a sense of pride, dignity, support, independence, respect, and opportunity. While ensuring Tears to Freedom, Inc. sustainability Tears to Freedom, Inc. develops, owns, and maintains quality, affordable housing for people with special needs, homeless, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and collaborates on their behalf to produce and maintain community based housing that fosters a sense of pride, independence, dignity, and respect. Tears to Freedom, Inc. focuses on supportive housing and advocacy as we work to create community inclusion and stability for homeless and individuals with special needs such as intellectual and developmental disabilities across the Big Bend and the Northwest Region.
