(ICS), a privately held, third-party administrator for workers’ compensation. He has previously owned or operated companies in a variety of industries including warehousing and distribution. Mr. Taylor is a prominent figure in civic communities, including past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Allegheny College, founding Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Leadership Center and is a former Board Chair of the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the American Red Cross, and The Presidents’ Council, LLC. Mr. Taylor is a current Co-Chair of the Commission on Economic Inclusion and serves as a Board Member for the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, Greater Cleveland Partnership, Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education and the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges. Vice President, Business Development, Taylor Oswald The Taylor Oswald Board of Directors Under Mr. Byrnes’ leadership, the 122-year-old employee-owned (ESOP) company has enjoyed significant growth and recently strengthened its position among the top 50 largest insurance brokers in the United States. Prior to his Chairman role, Mr. Byrnes served as Oswald’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Byrnes is a fixture in the Northeast Ohio civic community, serving and leading high profile philanthropic efforts across a wide segment of organizations, including but not limited to: The Cleveland Leadership Center, the United Way of Greater, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Board of Trustees and Development Committee and Teach for America Advisory Board. Mr. Jacobs is dedicated to managing Oswald’s services and support capabilities including strategic leadership of all practices and branch operations. A veteran of the insurance industry with more than 25 years experience, Mr. Jacobs has developed many new markets for Oswald that provide more specialty products and services for our clients while also managing executive interaction and strategy with all insurance companies. Prior to joining Oswald in 2000, Dave was the Regional Vice President of AIG’s Great Lakes Regional office in Cleveland. Jacobs is also active in several Northeast Ohio civic organizations including the MetroHealth Foundation, Playhouse Square Foundation and the Westfield Agents Association. In his post, Mr. McShephard is primarily responsible for coordinating external and governmental affairs for the company. An active community and corporate leader, Mr. McShepard is currently serving on several boards in Northeast Ohio including Baldwin-Wallace University, St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, The George Gund Foundation and Taylor Oswald LLC. He is also Co-Founder and Chairman of PolicyBridge, a public policy think tank serving the Northeast Ohio region, and is currently serving as a Regional Vice Chairman for the Public Affairs Steering Committee of the National Association of Manufacturers.
