We touched base the day before, and Bob showed up right on schedule. I could tell that Bob has an analytical approach to every repair, and I am quite sure that if Bob can't fix it, it can't be fixed! If something is beyond his scope, he'll readily tell you and offer a referral. I think this is where Angie's List shines - when you get to find someone like Bob that really likes what he does, he enjoys helping people and providing good service at a very reasonable price. Every chance I can I recommend him to others, I feel like I am doing the person a favor that I recommend him to. He is very thorough and professional, and he comes through on his work! I am 57 years old, and seldom do I give such a high rating 10 out of 10, this guy is good! Bob went out of his way to make sure that everything was done perfectly and to our expectations. He did an excellent job. He even went above and beyond by helping with a broken doorbell that was not part of the original work order. He was very professional and I felt very safe with him working in the house while my husband was at work and I was working from the home office out of plain sight. We will definitely call Bob again for the next round of to do's! He sent me a formal quote a few days later, and we set up the work date for the following week. On that day, Bob again showed up promptly as promised, and methodically handled each task, making sure that my needs were being satisfied. Upon completion of work, we walked through everything, and everything was done as promised at a fair cost to me. We just located from up north and need some help with odd jobs/repairs around the house and called Bob for an estimate. Bob responded immediately and came out and gave us a through and fair estimate of the repairs needed. A week later (at our request) he came out and performed all the work in a timely, professional manner. Bob is very likable and I felt comfortable having him work in my home while I was present; I would be fine with him there if I wasn't - he seems honest and a man of integrity. He honestly told that some kitchen cabinet additions I wanted were beyond his scope of work. We will call him again for future jobs. Bob is the most courteous, honest, professional and reliable handyman you will find. He shows up on time, provides fair and reasonable estimates and takes his time and does the job right the first time. I highly recommend him for all of your “Honey Do” list projects. I have used Bob at Tampa Family Handyman for a number of jobs. What I like best about the jobs Bob has done is that he takes pictures of the problem and emails the pictures to me along with an estimate of what he thinks it will take to do the job. Then, he also sends me photos of the completed work and the invoice for his actual time spent on the job. Because I live out of state and hire him to complete repairs at a rental property, it is a real value for me to get that level of professional communication from a service provider. In addition to his excellent communication, his actual job work is very good as well. He is quick and does the job right the first time. I bought a house which needed a lot of work to bring it up to the standard in which I wanted to live. I was very impressed with Bob's website and called for him to give me an estimate. After evaluating the repair needs and making some very good suggestions, Bob sent me an estimate within a few days. His work was high quality and completed within the estimated hours. He did return to "tweek" a few things at my request. I was very pleased with his work and have had him back to do some additional work. Since I moved into my house I've had a problem with the screens on my sliding glass doors. I contacted Bob Stache who came to my home to assess the problem. Rather than try to sell me new screens he took down a list a what he'd need to repair them. A couple of days later Mr Stache returned to do the repairs and now the screens work beautifully. He left the work area cleaner than he found it. I'm quite impressed. Bob, thank you again. I went ahead and painted the bathroom last night and [all the dry wall repair/ replacement & texturing] looks great! Thanks again and if we need help again we will definitely call you and refer you to others. Bob, we are very, very happy with our new floor… the floor looks fantastic and was completed to our satisfaction and expectations. Thank you very much for your hard work and dedication.
