MISSION STATEMENT The purpose of the Tampa bay Skating Club is to encourage the instruction, education, practice, and advancement of our members in all aspects of figure skating; to encourage and cultivate a spirit of comradery among figure skaters; to sponsor, to produce, or cooperate in the production of amateur competitions, seminars and ice shows; and to carry out the rules , policies, and objectives of United States Figure Skating. The Tampa Bay Skating Club (TBSC) was established in 1987 and moved into the Tampa Bay Skating Academy (TBSA) when it opened in Oldsmar in 1992. Since then, we have expanded to include members at Westfield Shopping Town - Countryside, in Clearwater and the Ice Sports Forum, in Brandon.  We are extremely proud of all of our skating members and we have been well represented at Regionals, Sectionals, and the United States Junior and Senior National Championships. Additionally, TBSC is the home club of the first USFS Synchronized Skating Team in the State of Florida, the Florida Sunsations.      Permission forms for tests and competitions. Each board member is asked to participate as a chairman for one or more committees (volunteers are also encouraged to help).  The Tampa Bay Skating Club was established in 1987. When the Tampa Bay Skating Academy rink opened in Oldsmar in Spring 1992, we moved into our primary home. Since then, we have expanded to include members at our associate rink, the TBSA/Westfield Mall Countryside in Clearwater and the Ice Sports Forum in Brandon. HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
