Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Club The Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Club was formed in 2005 and was the first established Dragon Boat club in the Tampa Bay area. Paddlers from corporate racing teams began practicing together and formed the Club as a way to enjoy year round dragon boating. The Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Club was established to foster amateur competition in the sport of dragon boating. The TBDBC, or as we are more commonly known, the in China in October 2017. All the USA teams performed exceptionally well and came home with several Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. We are extremely proud of their accomplishments on the world stage! Are you competitive? The Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Club is organized exclusively to foster amateur competition in the sport of dragon boating. Membership in the Club is open to all persons fourteen years of age or older who exhibit a passion for the sport of dragon boating, and are in proper physical condition, medically able, physically fit, and capable of participating in the sport of dragon boat racing.
