With extensive experience in the human performance and organization development field, Mario Tamayo has been training and coaching individuals and teams in leadership and presentation skills since the late 1970s. He helps people from executive to frontline levels in public and private sector organizations. Mario has been responsible for several successful performance and product improvement initiatives for many organizations, including The Anthony Robbins Companies, Broadcom, Genentech, General Atomics, General Dynamics, The Ken Blanchard Companies, Life Technologies, PETCO, and the 1984 USA Men’s Olympic (Gold Medal winning) Volleyball team. As Director of Product Development at The Ken Blanchard Companies, Mario’s team developed over 250 leadership products over a 5-year period. As Blanchard’s chief internal consultant, Mario led a dedicated team in a 1½-year effort to collaboratively redesign all elements of the company— resulting in a significant increase in performance over the three subsequent years. Mario also served as company ombudsperson and mediator, and worked closely with Ken Blanchard as his company expert on ethics, values, and recognition.
