Tallman Construction & Design, Inc. does not generally utilize the traditional system of design-bid-build, which is to obtain a design by an architect/drafter and then bids to construct from contractors. Rather we use the design-build delivery system. Our team collaborates closely with our customers to develop an innovative, efficient construction plan that defines the project goals and delivers quality standards. This plan will then be fully communicated to the entire team and monitored throughout the duration of the project. From preconstruction to closeout, our system ensures proper checks and balances along the way to deliver an on time and on budget project. Essentially, the company’s core values were established in 1995 when Scott Tallman started his own construction company. These values evolved from actually doing just about every aspect of the building process his subcontractors currently provide to Tallman Construction & Design, Inc., to his current role of running the business end. There is still nothing he will ask of his subs that he himself won’t get out and do. There is no project to date he hasn’t labored on himself. Our values include: When it comes to residential construction, we are known for our knowledge and craftsmanship. As home building experts, we have experience in constructing every style of home, from contemporary to European Tallman Construction did a great job on a small remodel project for Rosemark Women’s Care Specialists. Scott and his team arrived on time, did a great job and make sure that we were completely happy with the end result. We worked with Scott over the course of six months to plan a complete remodel of our 4,000+ sq. ft. medical facility. We had to minimize downtime, plan the work so the space could be closed for the least number of days and so we could start back up at full speed the first day back. The major job – inclusive of new farming, drywall, plumbing, flooring, wiring, wallpaper, specialty tiling and detailed lighting was finished on time, within budget and we were able to see those patients on Day One back. Scott is a class act and does what he say he will do. We know who we are going to call for our next big project – residential or commercial.
