Tallahassee Seminole Club, Inc., formerly known as College Avenue Seminoles, was established in 1998 by a group of enthusiastic FSU alumni. The club is dedicated to uniting Seminoles from Leon County in support of Florida State University (FSU). As a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, TSC serves as a community hub for fans, alumni, and friends of FSU within the region. Its mission encompasses fostering direct interactions with notable speakers such as coaches, administrators, student-athletes, and other FSU celebrities through monthly meetings, social events, and an annual golf tournament. The organization actively supports initiatives like recruiting merit scholars, providing scholarship funding for academic and athletic pursuits, and organizing endowment activities. It also engages in annual booster fundraising efforts to bolster various university causes. TSC's extensive contribution extends beyond these endeavors by organizing numerous social and fundraising events throughout the year. The club relies on member support and participation to sustain its commitment to community engagement and FSU’s growth in athletics and academics. Talahassee Seminole Club, Inc., has been instrumental in raising funds for Florida State University at a time when state university budgets are constrained and athletic programs depend on donations from support groups like TSC. The club operates without state funding for its athletic programs, hence reinforcing the importance of contributions from clubs similar to TSC and individual supporters.
