Anne Corcoran received a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor, with high honors, from Florida State University. Ms. Corcoran currently owns her own law firm and previously served as a prosecutor for the Fifth Judicial Circuit. She has served on the Judicial Nominating Commission for both the Fifth Judicial Circuit and the First Judicial Circuit. In addition to her legal work, she is the founder and volunteer CEO of Classical Preparatory School in Pasco County for which she received the Award for Special Service in 2016 from the Classical Association of the Middle West and South and the Champion Charter School Pioneer Award from the Florida Consortium of Public Charter Schools in 2016. She served on the Advisory Council for Student Assessment Reporting for the Foundation for Excellence in Education from 2016 to 2017. She and her husband, Richard, have six children ranging in age from 16 to 5.
