of balancing my Mind | /ˈBÄDĒ/ | Soul | Life & Business; and how you can too. I don’t live, teach, or believe in get-rich-quick schemes or overnight transformations. It took 1 year into my transformation before I started to actually see the fruits of my labor. There was nothing easy about what I had to do to get myself from point A to B. In relative terms and to outsiders looking in, it was “quick” because I decided to produce at any level, as long as I kept putting one foot in front of the other. At the lowest point of my transformation I was unemployed, a single mother living back at home with her parents, bathing elderly people making $200/wk, had $26,000 of consumer debt with a MBA degree in hand. Things did not change for me overnight. Which is why now, I communicate the blue prints of how I transformed my life to live limitless and without boundaries. For years I have been the motivational force behind family, friends, and colleagues; sometimes even the motivational moment to a stranger. An incredible part of my growth journey has always been sharing what I have learned with others. The best part of my professional career has been my time teaching varied business courses at the collegiate level and my work as a Human Resources Professional. I have been fortunate to cross the paths of a multitude of people all at different stages of their life and career with different destinations. Through this blog and its mediums, I want to share these experiences with you. I am your average women, a native of Brooklyn, New York with Jamaican roots. I have earned a Masters of Business Administrative and Bachelor of Science Degree in Management but I was birthed with a work ethic and mindset that was not taught in schools. As a first time Christian mom I struggled with finding the answer that was best for us. I knew I wanted to be his primary source for biblical info. I also wanted to live by example… perfect example that is. Very tough to do seeing as though we are all sinners and fail short of the glory of God daily. I wasn’t without sin in the least bit, matter of fact I had birth my son out of wedlock. I started to feel the pressure but thank God we survived all of that and we landed here.
