Mission No matter the age or comfort level of the participant, Swim with Mr. Blue will help each person achieve his or her maximum swimming potential. The trained staff works with swimmers as young as 6 months old and also has classes for adults. Classes are taught either in the facility’s pool, which is heated year-round, or a home pool. They range from “Parent-Assisted Water Safety” and “Swim Safe in 5 Days” to “Adult Beginner Swim” to CPR Classes.” Another segment of Swim with Mr. Blue is the Super Swimmers Foundation, which teaches autistic children to swim. The Foundation is dedicated to teaching ALL children with autism and special needs to learn to swim both safely and successfully in the water, therefore improving their speech, muscular development, and confidence in a fun, loving environment. Gabi is now a mother of two little ones and can relate to how a parent feels when their child starts swimming.  and I know how great it program is compared to the competitors.  Gabi started teaching with Mr. Blue in 2010, she took some time off to start her family  and now is back in the water teaching. We are glad to have her be a part of  Mr Blue’s crew once again. Coach Tina started at Mr. Blue 2 years ago and has always enjoyed the teaching aspect of our company. Tina plans to go into Radiation Therapy as a career and is currently attending Broward College as a dual enrolled student with the hope to get into the radiation therapy program. She and Coach Julia are twins and both of them got into teaching swimming because their little brother had a near drowning experience. She hopes to continue teaching children how to safely and effectively save their lives and continue to prevent drownings.  A Most children are afraid of the water if they have not had regular exposure or if they haven’t seen their parents swimming. The greatest attribute of our program is our Learn to Swim with Mr. Blue book and DVD and when children learn that Mr. Blue was afraid of the water too they will soon relate with the character and become willing with a little help from our Highly trained Mr. Blue swim teachers and staff. A We recommend that your child starts taking swim classes when they are 6 months and older. In fact we offer you a discount on the baby guppies program if you prepay for your child’s 5 day program. We are confident that the earlier you start your child learning to swim in Mr. Blue’s program the sooner they will start swimming independently on their own. A Every child who enters our 5 day program learns how to swim back to the wall. Because some children develop differently than others you may not see extreme kicking or as successful reaching for the wall right away. That is why is it crucial to help reinforce your child’s learning by enrolling them in our Beginner Levels 2 and 3 classes immediately after the 5 day program. A No, if you help encourage your child during the 5 day fast track program your child will feel proud of their accomplishments at the end of each day. If you however act nervous and don’t encourage your child to continue practicing after the 5 days then it could cause them to not want to continue swimming. Swim with Mr. Blue offers parents and caregivers CPR and First Aid classes to help them be better prepared for emergency situations. Knowing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Rescue breathing can help circulate blood containing oxygen to vital organs necessary for their survival. This immediate attention helps sustain life until professional emergency care arrives. Also available now at airports, some workplaces and larger stores and malls are AED’s (Automated External Defibrillators). These devices analyze the heart’s electrical rhythm and, if necessary, prompt you to deliver a shock to a person experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. If trained properly by a Swim with Mr. Blue instructor you can offer help in these emergency situations and possibly SAVE A LIFE. The life you save could either be someone close to you such as a child or a family member or it could be a total stranger.
