Swim With Gills is a swim school that teaches adults to be totally comfortable and confident in the water.  Our one on one private instructors will teach you to be in control in both the shallow water and deep water at all times.  You can learn to swim and even snorkel!  For our more advanced swimmers, we specialize in stroke technique for swimmers who would like to improve their swimming skills.  Many of our clients are tri-athletes who want to swim faster, further and more efficiently in both the pool and the open water. Our American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors help moms and dads of our littlest swimmers get comfortable in and under the water...... Swim With Gills introduces water safety concepts useing inter-active water play while encouraging a healthy recreational habit that your entire family can safely enjoy. Parents and children learn together to increase a child’s comfort level in the water and build a foundation of basic skills, such as arm and leg movements and breath control. Often toddlers will accomplish head submersion on their on through imitation and this is the 'make or break' stage for anyone at any age learning to be comfortable in the water.  Swimming is a vital skill, but Swim With Gills strives to make learning to swim calm and enjoyable.  My husband Bryan and I provide a unique variety of services in our community and in the communities that surround us. We are members of the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce, the Hobe Sound Rotary, Josh-the-Otter Program, and The Make A Splash Foundation.  We hope to become even more active in our community in the coming years.  And we encourage anyone in business to join their local Chamber of Commerce because they also will receive the advice, encouragement and support from their community they will need to be successful in their business. Swim With Gills Certified United States Water Fitness Instructor and Certified Aquatics Director Performing simple activities such as walking, running, dancing, and swimming are defined as doing aerobic exercises. This type of exercise has been around for some years. It provides a great deal of resistance in all directions for your muscles to work against. This multi-directional resistance provides an excellent environment for rehabilitation of injured athletes and orthopedic patients. Swim With Gills is a traveling swim school that teaches children to swim through interactive play.  We build the trust and confidence your child through advanced levels of stroke technique and open water swimming for tri-athletes. We also offer Adaptive Aquatic classes for swimmers with developmental disabilities. Our certified lifeguards will assist you with your Pool Party needs!  Swim With Gills Aquatic Workout Classes, Water Aerobics and Water Walking burn more calories and optimize physical conditioning. Swim lessons are a way to facilitate new experiences - helping to develop motor skills, strength, and even social and communication skills.  But - once you are satisfied that what you have read is helpful, please come back to our Swim With Gills’ homepage and register. Registering does not obligate you in any way.  However, if you think you, or someone you know, can benefit from adaptive aquatics, registering will allow us to discuss any and all special requirements with you.  Then, if you decide you would like to work together, you can schedule one or more lessons at your location or ours.  Swim With Gills’ Adaptive Aquatic’s Instructors are certified to teach adaptive aquatics.  And all Swim With Gills’ instructors are American Red Cross and Water Safety Certified.
