In 2001, I started making metal jewelry. Next thing you know, a jewelry business was born. It grew pretty quickly… to the point where my spring and fall weekends were filled with festivals. The work was hard, but I couldn’t complain because business was good. The stock market was dropping and the housing market was falling apart. Investors started putting money into precious metals and silver prices quickly spiked. The same jewelry I had always made was now three to four times the price and was no longer affordable for my customers. It was evident that if my business was going to survive, I would need to find something else to use to make jewelry. It was in that moment that my focus went from metal and stones to metal and resin. I decided to quit the art show circuit so I could tend to my family and start selling my resin jewelry wholesale. This is the part of the story where fate and opportunity meet.
