The inspiration behind Sweetwood Books was simple. There were no other brick and mortar bookstores on Fleming Island. And despite the desire and eagerness amongst the book loving islanders for an indie book-hub they could call their own, their wishes were left unanswered. . . until now. Our store adds a sense of community, culture and the panache and uniqueness of an indie small business to Fleming Island.
