As a founding partner of Coastal Reconstruction, Inc., now rebranded as SweetWater Restoration Inc., Don Brewer has nearly 40 years of construction industry experience. Since 1985, he has led the business, from its inception in Houston, to a full-service general contracting firm with offices in Florida and operations in 19 states. Don has extensive knowledge and experience in wind, water, and fire restoration and holds a Class A general contractor license in 8 states. Upon graduating from Florida State University in 2005 with a degree in business management, Jake went to work right away for his father Don. Now with 10 years’ experience in the construction industry, Jake functions as the companies Director of Operations, overseeing all day to day function of the business. Jake also holds a Class A general contractor license in Florida and Virginia. Matt went to work in the family business right out of school joining his father and older brother in 2007. Following in his father’s footsteps, Matt has an exceptional ability to understand the construction process and manage projects. After starting as a superintendent Matt now functions as the company’s Director of Field Operations, handling everything from construction management, to estimating and cost control. Matt also oversees the company’s emergency response and safety programs. The youngest brother in the family, Ben, joined the business full time in 2012, after graduating from The University of North Florida with a degree in marketing. Ben has his hands in many different aspects of managing the family business. He works closely with the sales team managing all marketing initiatives and also handles IT related issues as they arise. During college Ben worked for a custom builder in Banner Elk, NC. Upon graduating with a degree in Aviation Ben managed a flight school operations in Elizabethon, TN. He joined Coastal Reconstruction in 2006 in our Jacksonville office handling sales in North Florida. Over the last decade Ben’s experiences dealing with disaster related emergencies positions him as an expert resource on disaster recovery and building restoration. He regularly leads training seminars for various associations throughout the state. He specializes in both residential and commercial insurance loss mitigation, restoration, and rehabilitation with a great understanding of the construction industry as a whole. For the most difficult losses, Ben has been hired by insurance companies as a property consultant to provide his professional expertise to the situation. Currently he over sees all sales for Sweetwater Restoration.
