Who We Are Established in 1993, Sweetheart Ice Cream began as a single truck operation running out of a mobile home. Within a few years, it was clear that we would need more space and more ice cream to support our growing business! In 2001, we purchased 3 acres of land in Tampa, Florida and began our relationship with Good Humor-Breyers. In 2003, we officially declared Tampa our headquarters and moved into our new, 10,000 square foot, customized facility equipped with a 5,000 sq ft freezer. The same year, with plenty of space and a fleet of trucks, Sweetheart Ice Cream was named a Good Humor-Breyers preferred distributor. As demand increased, we purchased a second facility in Ft. Myers in 2008 and business continues to flourish.
