What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day? I did not have a wedding planner so I did most of it myself. Pinterest and Etsy were huge in helping me plan my wedding. My older sister and now sister-in-law were also a huge inspiration and help since they had both recently gotten married before me. I decided to get a day of coordinator last minute and let me tell you, it was the BEST DECISION I made! I seriously would have been lost without Christina Harris with Swanky Soiree Events. She saved the day in so many ways! With a back ground in Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Graphic Design, I bring a passion for design and all things beautiful to create the most swanky events. I moved to Sarasota in 2007 to attend Ringling College of Art & Design where I obtained my bachelors degree in Interior Design. Over the past few years I have worked in the Interior Design industry, for a large Retail company designing women’s apparel and branding as well as in the hospitality industry. I fell in love with event planning after planning friend’s weddings and parties as well as working for a catering company. My eye for design, attention to detail, creativity and organizational skills will keep your event on track and exactly the way you envisioned it.
