Lisa graduated from the ICS studies in Interior Decoration and Design and successfully passed the examination from the Council for Qualification of Residential Interior Designers. In December 1999, she received her professional license from the Florida State Board of Architecture and Interior Design by passing the National Council for Interior Design Qualification exam. Her continuing education has included many courses from ASID, AIA, and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. In 2008 Lisa also became and Accredited Staging Professional. Over the past 28 years of working in the design field, her passion and philosophy has evolved to three important things; space planning that works for each client’s lifestyle, there is never too much light and money is saved when you have a well thought out plan for your vision. Look for a frame made from a kiln-dried hardwood such as oak, alder, birch, maple or, alternatively, high-quality hardwood plywood or marine plywood. Eight-way, hand-tied springs are a hallmark of fine furniture, but sinuous S-shaped springs can provide nearly as much comfort. Drop-in coil springs are a less costly alternative.
