While working from private homes, hotel rooms, and short term rental properties all over the world Super Ultra Hyper was born. Kenny Thompson, a veteran game developer of nearly two decades, founded the company in 2013. He began his career in the games industry at Mesa Logic, an arcade game developer published by Atari. Since then he has worked at several companies creating games for franchises such as Star Trek, James Bond, Just Cause, and Saints Row. After spending many great years employed by large studios creating big budget games he decided to go the solo route and try his hand at creating lower budget indie games. Having been an artist for the duration of his career and lacking an engineer to build games with him, Kenny taught himself to program. Relying on his previous experience and a newly developed skill set, his company’s first game, Game of Loot, will ship Q2 2015.
