I have spent many years doing precision training for competition and showing. That’s a great hobby and the titles and trophies feel amazing to win. But at this point in my life, what I really want is to be able to have my dogs around me as much as I can in my everyday life. I love that we can go on long walks without a leash, and that I can walk them so calmly we don’t even disturb wildlife. I love learning about the newest technologies and the latest behavior theories. I understand that training styles change and I have changed as well. I’m constantly taking classes and seminars to better help others. There isn’t anything I’d rather do. Dogs die from behavior problems — there is no need. I have a circle of “dog people” around me. Some are breeders and show in the conformation ring, some work with service dogs, some are into veterinary care. We help each other. We can even help if: Maybe your dog knows all the basic obedience commands, but you still can’t trust him in the kitchen. If he gets into your stuff, gets up on counters, goes crazy at the door, or has no manners in the house, we can help with that, too. Many of our programs are taught IN YOUR HOME, so we can fix exactly what’s wrong. Does loading the dog into the car for an outing fill you with dread? If you never needed to take your dog out of the home, life would be easy. But Super Dog School wants you to be able to take your dog with you without the worry of him acting up or embarrassing you.
