We are a self-starting business. Owners Mike Cooper and Emily Helter started Sunshine Gulf Cart Rentals in March of 2017. Both Emily and Mike grew up in South West Florida and have both admired North Captiva Island for all of its uniqueness. Mike and Emily were in their senior year of college when they decided to open up their golf cart rental business to have some extra money to pay for school. Mike was getting his Bachelors in Forestry and Fisheries and Emily in Marketing and Business Management. Now while getting their masters, we are running Sunshine Gulf Cart Rentals back in our home town. In July of 2017 we decided to create a sister company adjoining Sunshine Gulf Cart Rentals; Sunshine Grocery Delivery Service. Now, you will be able to get all of the groceries you need to make your vacation extra special (and delicious). We are trying to make peoples vacations go as smoothly as possible. It’s sort of like a one stop shopping. Where can you get your vacation “ride” and all of your meals and snacks in one place? We hope that you can help our business grow into something very wonderful and special to the island. We are proud of how we started, just two people trying to make some extra money to pay for school. Now we are adding on extra business opportunities and growing into a great company. As our business grows, we hope to add more value and convenience items for our customers.
