Mission Statement: Love God, Love People, Live The Word. We want to fill the community with people who love God, love other people, and live The Word of God with a kingdom minded focus. We are a church that thrives on small-group settings, discipling and training believers to be all that God has called them to be. We are a church that understands the importance of spreading the Gospel in such a way that it will be the seed from which more churches are planted. Chris went to Georgia Southern University in 2007 to pursue a degree in Marketing. While studying at GSU he felt God calling him into full time ministry, and accepted that call in 2009. He then attended Liberty University and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Religion, specializing in Biblical Studies. David shared his vision of the church plant in Fort Walton, and Chris knew that was where God was leading him. Chris loves watching the Boston Red Sox, playing golf and grilling out. Chris serves as co-pastor of Sunrise City Church. He will provide the vision and direction of Sunrise City Church in Fort Walton Beach as other Sunrise City Churches are being planted. Chris is married to Lacey, who works as a nurse in Fort Walton Beach. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University in Religion, specializing in Biblical Studies. During his final year at Liberty, while serving at a church plant in Virginia, God called him to become a church planter. Since graduating in 2011, he has invested his time in prayer and preparation to answer that call. David is an avid golfer and a huge fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers. David serves as co-pastor of Sunrise City Church and will provide the vision and direction for the Sunrise City Movement for future Sunrise City Churches. David is married to Kelli, who works as a nurse in Crestview, Florida. Christian felt God calling him to full-time vocational ministry in 2004. In order to pursue that calling he went to Liberty University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Biblical studies. Christian has always been very passionate for music and has been involved with worship ministry in various roles for many years. As David’s brother, Christian heard him talking about the Sunrise City Church plant for years, but it was not until the fall of 2013 that God made it clear to Christian that he was supposed to be a part of the team. Christian married his wonderful wife, Olivia, in April of 2012. Christian is an avid cyclist and loves eating his wife’s cooking. He provides all the technical support for Sunrise City Church including sound engineering, lighting, video production, and whatever else is needed.
