Suncoast Flag Football Mission Statement Our goal at Suncoast Flag Football is to provide a positive atmosphere for all children participating in our league. We strive to provide fun, quality and structured team sport activities for the children of Sarasota County. The developmental programs will teach sports fundamentals as well as accountability, good sportsmanship, discipline, giving back and team work in a positive, caring and safe environment. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and grow from knowledgeable volunteers who will promote the philosophies and principles of community and fair play. We have an 8 game season and then the playoffs. Each team makes the playoffs. All games are played on Saturday Mornings at Glebe Park on Siesta Key! Throughout the season we have family fun nights at some of our generous sponsors places of business. We also do a huge nerf gun fight once a month and the whole family is invited. Sportsmanship is a huge part of what we teach kids at Suncoast Flag Football. We have partnered with Riverview High School in helping us teach kids how important this is. Each week players from our league are rewarded with there good sportsmanship and they get to go to Riverview High School games and meet the team, coaches and go in the High School locker room. We want to make sure all players in our league know how important having a good attitude is in sports and in life.
