SunCoast Converters, Inc. was established in 1989 as a two-man operation in the back of a transmission shop. Today, SunCoast has grown to over forty employees and over 70,000 sq. ft. of room to conduct operations. SunCoast started with a quest to answer the demand for quality after-market torque converters, transmissions, and parts. Since then, SunCoast has identified and corrected failure points within numerous OEM transmissions and torque converters. SunCoast formulates test data using real-world scenarios, along with the latest technology and design methods, to manufacture parts that correct the cause of these failures. The quality and technology is second to none! For many years I have been a SunCoast Customer and Dealer. Over the last several months I have had the pleasure of working with Andrew and Crew from SunCoast to test and fine tune their 10531 converter, clutches, intabulators, etc. Working hand in hand with his team, as well as with Evan at Limitless Diesel, I have been able to take my 2004 CREW CAB GMC ALLISON to all new limits, running several back-to-back 10.13 @139 mph passes (fuel only). We have really pushed the envelope and will continue to work out the bugs, testing products, pushing the limits, to go rounds and set records with the ALLISON.
