WHO WE ARE I come from the pest management/lawn care industry and became concerned about my own health from working outdoors in the sun everyday. I was afraid of getting skin cancer. I also wanted to protect my employees and co-workers. I recognize the risks associated with working outdoors and I wanted to show them that I appreciate their efforts and care about their health and safety. When I could not find the level of protection I wanted, I partnered with a team of top Dermatologists to formulate Sun Block at Work to protect my team as well as outdoor professionals from other industries. When people go to the pool or beach, they always take sun protection. Yet, no one thinks about it when employees go to work outside everyday and spend up to 8 hours in the sun. Hats and long sleeve shirts are not enough to protect them. The areas most prone to skin cancer are your ears, nose, lips, back of the neck, scalp, forearms and hands. We are working with industries like pest management, lawn/landscape/tree care, construction, roofing, a/c install/repair, pool building/cleaning, pressure washing, road work, life guards, golf course superintendents, painters, hotel & resort staff, cruise line staff, summer camps, property inspectors, land surveyors, professional/amateur athletes, airport tarmac workers and pilots, mail carriers and theme park staff. Since we started using this product I have noticed that no one is complaining about sun burns. One of the really nice aspects is that you don't have to reapply it as often as traditional chemical blocking sun screen. A little bit of the product also goes a long way. There is a slight white film that you can barely see when the sun block is applied but it doesn't feel oily. At the end of the day this product washes off well in comparison to other sun blocks that leave an odd feeling residue on the skin. I used to use pure zinc oxide on my face, but it would rub off once I started sweating. When I switched to Sun Block at Work, it stayed on my face and everywhere else I applied it. It does not sweat or rub off until you want to take it off. It is not oily and does not take much to do the job. The people I have shared it with love it too.
