Sun Automotive Equipment is a small local family owned and operated tool and equipment company that provides personalized service with incredible attention to detail. The company’s owner is Barbara Baldassano, the organizational genius behind the scenes. She keeps everything running smoothly while the automotive equipment strength of the company is its general manager Roger Benton.
Roger began his automotive career in 1977 as a tire buster at a local Goodyear tire store in Oceanside New York. After learning some of his mechanical skills as an auto mechanic Roger continued to grow his knowledge and skills as a repair shop owner throughout the 1980’s and then selling the business to make his move to Florida. Roger started his tool and equipment sales career in 1989 working for Sun Electric Corporation and combined with Snap-on Diagnostics he helped thousand of mechanics and shop owners grow their businesses for almost 20 years. Roger continued to gain experience within other areas of the tool and equipment industry working for (ATD) American Tire Distributors, Medco Wholesale Tools and Affordable Automotive Equipment.
Today, Roger brings over 27 years of experience to help our customers get the tools and equipment they need to get the job done. Roger’s expert advice helps decision making become an easy task.
