Our mission is to build the perfect electric guitar. By sourcing from small, high-quality shops rather than large production factories, our guitars have the highest level of craftsmanship. OUR PASSION IS MAKING A GUITAR YOU CAN’T PUT DOWN Since 2012, Sublime Guitars has been surprising customers with the quality and craftsmanship of our instruments. Whether it was electric guitars, acoustics or pedals, we have put one principal above all else; QUALITY MATTERS. Since our inception we have pushed to build the finest instruments we could and challenge ourselves daily to redefine what an import guitar could be. Even with the positive feedback from our first designs, we still felt there was a better way to build an import guitar. Although we would search tirelessly for the best factory to build our instruments, there wasn’t a single factory that could excel at all aspects of import production. Some would be great at one area but lack in the other. That’s when the idea hit. What if instead of picking one factory to do all of the work, we found the best luthiers around the world to contribute what they do best. After spending several years identifying the best workshops around the world we came up with our Globally Crafted production line. We now utilize up to 5 factories around the world to build a single guitar. This hand picked artisan approach coupled with all guitars being setup right here in Lakeland Florida, allow us to offer an instrument at a level of quality unseen on the market. From the first note, you will truly feel, play and hear the difference. Sublime Guitars has spent the last several years sourcing the best overseas workshops to build our instruments. We have replaced the mass-produced assembly line approach with an artisan, globally crafted process that abides by three rules: no large factories, no unfair labor and no corners cut. The artisan movement has taken over every industry with a growing demand for quality and transparency about where and how products are made. In the guitar industry there is a disconnect between the large factories that mass-produce electric guitars and the rising standards, customers expect. Many manufacturers that import guitars try to hide or downplay how and where their guitars are built; not Sublime. Over the past several years, our founder Chi-Yuan Huang, has found the best guitar makers from Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia and the US that excel in specific aspects of guitar production. Our builders are often single person shops that specialize in a single area of production. Rather than having one large factory mass-produce an entire instrument, our guitar line sources each component based on quality and craftsmanship.
