Love the Megaformer workout and all of the trainers at Studio Physique. Thanks to all for improved muscle tone, strength, endurance and community! I've finally found a fitness program that I can maintain because I love what it is doing to my body! Still new but I've discovered muscles I forgot I had. With injuries to my knee and wrist that I had repaired about a year ago, this program alone is making them stronger now. It took awhile for me to trust my damaged body again! I feel stronger every week! Low impact, core building, mental strengthening, muscle burning program that only lasts 50 minutes works for me! The instructors are all knowledgeable and push me when I need it! � My goal for now is attend at least 3 times a week and gradually 4 a week in combination with more consistent healthy food choices! The megaformer and variety of moves are a bit daunting initially (if you've never done Pilates or Yoga), but the trainers and other classmates are happy to help you out and show you what to do. It only took a handful of classes before I felt really comfortable with the machine and most of the moves throughout the workout. This truly is a full body workout and since there is no impact, you feel it in your muscles, but not in your joints! My flexibility and strength have improved noticeably and since every class is different, I don't get bored! Studio Physique is a St Pete fitness gem! Each of the classes are designed by one of the studio's top-notch instructors who all do an exceptional job making sure attendees "feel the burn" of each position and are in proper alignment to avoid injury.
