Why Structured Foods? We started Structured Foods because we think nutrition should be based on the facts. We believe that helping people snack smarter starts with science and ends with great taste. We've used our background in science and engineering, combined with our experience in the industry, to do the research. Protein and fiber are the most important ingredients to stay full after snacking. With that in mind, we've created a delicious set of soft baked cookies that are scientifically designed to keep you satisfied. Mike started his career as a chemical engineer working in Wisconsin. Things changed quickly when he moved back home to help his parents get their fledgling cookie company, ginnybakes, off the ground. Launching his own company in the industry he loves has been a long time goal. After growing up in different parts of the Midwest, Brian received his bachelor’s degree in chemical and biological engineering from Northwestern University. He worked in production and operations in Texas before attending Harvard Business School. He enjoys backpacking and camping. What is Structured Foods? Structured Foods was founded by engineers with the idea of creating snacks based on peer reviewed scientific research. We've started with a snack size cookie that tastes great and has the right amount of protein and fiber to keep you full in-between meals. Our background in both engineering and the food industry gives Structured Foods the ability to sort through half-baked opinions to get to real nutrition. When we say that our snacks will stop your hunger, they will. When we say our snacks have the right amount of protein to keep you focused and full, they do.
