Our Company Strategic Value Solutions, Inc. is a leading provider of value improvement services. Principals and Owners, Korene Robinson and John Robinson created SVS out of a desire to take value consulting services to the next level. John came from the previous partnership of Robinson, Stafford, and Rude, Inc. Both licensed professional engineers, John and Korene bring a combination of knowledge, experience, and abilities unsurpassed in the value consulting industry. SVS specializes in utilizing the value methodology to help our clients view their programs and projects in a new light. SVS provides professionally-registered, Certified Value Specialist team leaders who also specialize in facilitation. SVS is one of the most experienced and recognized value consulting firms in the industry in the application of the value methodology to infrastructure projects. As an example, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) selected SVS to lead multiple value study workshops to plan the transformation of their project delivery system, for some $40 billion in infrastructure construction projects, from the traditional design-bid-build approach to a performance-based design-build process. Additionally, we co-authored the value engineering standard incorporated into the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) Manual of Practice. Moreover, SVS has conducted over 100 value engineering studies in the past 10 years on design-build infrastructure projects. Korene Robinson is a Principal and Owner of Strategic Value Solutions, Inc. She serves the firm as President. Since leaving the Corps, Korene has been Principal of Strategic Value Solutions, providing Value Engineering services worldwide. She is Project Manager/Principal-in-charge for many of the indefinite delivery contracts. In addition to this, she has participated both as a technical team member and cost estimator for Value Engineering studies, as well as, serving as assistant team leader. Korene provides technical review and quality assurance for all SVS technical reports. John Robinson is a Principal and Owner of Strategic Value Solutions, Inc. He serves as an Executive Vice President and Senior Project Manager. Kyle Schafersman is a Value Engineering Team Leader and a Project Manager for Strategic Value Solutions, Inc. He has an in-depth knowledge of the VE methodology and the application of it to many types of construction and design related projects. He has participated and/or facilitated in excess of 200 VE studies on a wide range of project types. Before joining SVS, Kyle served as the Value Engineering Program Manager for a major Architectural/Engineering firm with over 50,000 employees. He has an engineering degree from the University of Kansas. Kyle was honored by SAVE International as the 2008 recipient of the Rising Star Award
