Why Strategic Data Resources? With over 33 years in various aspects of Information Technologies, many in IT Management, I have more often than not worked for entrepreneurial companies. Without exception, those companies started small and grew to become major players in their markets. With American Financial Corporation and Industry Mortgage Company, Inc. I joined the companies early and built IT departments with applications and systems that provided the means to meet the requirements of assembling, evaluating, and bundling mortgage portfolios for the securitization market. While with Poe Financial I built the company's claims data mart and supported data reporting and analytics that allowed that company to meet the extensive oversight requirements brought on by the 2004/2005 hurricane season which devastated south Florida and Mississippi. With the growth of Diversified Maintenance Systems I managed IT initiatives that took the company's systems from a small data closet to a secure colocation, upgrading physical servers and storage systems, implementing virtual private cloud, and embracing SaaS. I dedicated myself to assure that the technology of these companies met the evolving needs required by, and allowing, their growth.  After years of working for entrepreneurs I have made the move to being the entrepreneur. Of the many tasks and responsibilities that I have had throughout my career, my favorites have been in the areas of data management and data retrieval in the course of providing Business Information systems. With Strategic Data Resources, LLC I am focusing on that favorite of activities for the benefit of others. My goal is to provide you the best possible access to your data for your informed decision making and to do that with an eye to making it affordable for the small and mid-sized company as well as for larger companies.
