Founded by Jami Wilson Hall in 1990, her vision was to combine seasoned electrical construction expertise with full service design and project management capabilities. This approach of specialization in electrical and lighting management has a focus on energy conservation, with projects that include: quality lighting design, energy management systems and planned maintenance programs. Having worked in her father’s electrical contracting firm, Ms. Hall is a second generation in the industry. Having meager beginnings, she used this entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the business, to grow Stones River Electric from two employees to a national service organization that has performed projects and service in the contiguous United States, Mexico and Canada. More than just an electrical contractor, Stones River Electric is recognized nationwide as an innovator, providing cutting edge lighting and electrical services. With corporate offices headquartered in Nashville, we are centrally located in Tennessee which provides less than an eight hour drive to over 75% of the United States population. With electrical contractor’s licenses in 30+ states, technicians located throughout the Southeast and traveling crews, Stones River Electric is able to self-perform all your lighting, electrical and signage needs throughout the United States and Mexico. When appropriate, we will work with preferred industry partners in local markets to ensure national coverage at local rates. Our knowledgeable management staff, electricians and lighting technicians are dedicated to responsively mastering the latest lighting and electrical technologies. The employees of Stones River Electric have many areas of training and certifications available to assist them in mastering their trade. All team members are required to participate in one or more of these programs. Along with our 300+ employees, an extensive fleet of service vans, bucket trucks, and cranes enable Stones River Electric the capability to service any electrical, lighting and sign system. We provide safety training and on-site inspections to enable our employees to perform all operations of our business in a safe manner for both the protection of our employees and the public. No job is so important that it should be conducted in an unsafe manner. Our number one consideration of all operations is the safety of the people involved. The work areas and contractor “ lay down” areas were kept clean through out the entire project and once they had completed their work there was no evidence that they had been here. While my first inclination was to wonder why local contractors were not used for this project, it became very clear that the Stones River / Woodstone Energy combination performed as a very well oiled and professional machine.
