Over the years I have done home remodeling, installed garage doors and built gates and access systems and even grown beansprouts. For 15 years I was plant manager for my Catholic Church parish in both Miami and Dunedin Florida responsible for all the building, maintenance and cleaning of a large physical plant and school. For most of this time i also maintained a wood shop building custom hardwood cabinets, furniture and heirloom boxes and doing custom woodworking. During this time i continued to dabble in my claywork. Unfortunatly, in this difficult economy… I found myself “downsized” for Christmas of 2009 because the church decided they could no longer afford me. Well… if i was going to get lemons then i would have to make lemonade. So i called up people i knew and had worked with and soon after i opened my shop doing custom woodworking. I have been blessed to have been busy ever since. I have built kitchens, bathroom vanities, furniture and even the sets for a play at Ruth Eckerd hall. I build displays for a local company in Clearwater (where i once worked), and i also do carpentry work for a local general contractor.
